About the role:

Your aim as a Solution Engineering is to provide the value and insight that facilitates successful outcomes for our prospect and partners to achieve their local customer engagement & acquisition objectives.

 

We do this by using product, SaaS and industry knowledge along with value based insights and a bespoke toolkit to find the right answer or solution to a problem.

 

As a Solution Engineer, (m/f/d) you will be working with your colleagues in the Partner Acquisition (Reseller) and Enterprise Sales teams to help them with the education and ongoing support for all UK partners - and to help the partners and resellers find the answers that creates the solutions they need to help them deliver first-class Uberall experiences to their prospects and customers.

 

With an understanding of the world of SaaS and state-of-the-art Website technologies, API integration, information architecture, SEM, SEO, local search and digital acquisition you will be able to articulate unique, strategic solutions that work across 1st, 2nd and 3rd Party customer environments for all Direct Enterprise and Partner Reseller prospects and customers.

Experience in SaaS technical architecture and integration scenarios is required for this role. The ability to be able to understand high level technical front-end and back-end requirements and work with our customers and internal teams to create the right technical framework for integrated and connected experiences will be required.

Your responsibilities:

There are three core areas of delivery for Solution Engineers at Uberall. You will be focusing on:

    • Opportunity Enhancement - providing unique Solution Engineering support, working with Value Engineering and Support Consultants to provide the analysis, insights and support materials that make the difference throughout the opportunity process.

 

  • Opportunity Enablement - multi-faceted problem solving, based on scenarios and use cases from prospects which may include investigating custom product requests,  discovering product workarounds and alternative approaches/solutions, API & information architecture discovery, local search & digital acquisition KPI business case development, competitor analysis/marketing & data value analysis, creation of pilots (POC’s) and new product demonstrations 

 

  • Technical and Security RFP Support - RFP documentation response & internal stakeholder management - Working with Engineering, Legal and DPO to provide clarity for response responsibilities, cross team management and document fulfilment 

 

Additional responsibilities:

  • Form relationships with the relevant digital marketing leaders of the prospect and understand the metrics of the existing digital marketing campaigns, and how these can be improved using Uberall solutions
  • When required, represent the Uberall brand and solutions at marketing events and seminar
  • Where relevant, you will also work with Uberall Direct Enterprise Sales teams and your Solution Engineering colleagues from various global territories to support them in ongoing and new opportunities
  • Internally, Solution Engineers work with Customer Success, Product, Product Marketing, Engineering and Legal to ensure that Uberall solutions develop the capabilities that are required in the market

Your profile:

  • You have a strong understanding of digital marketing, SEM, SEO, Local Search and GMB, developed via roles working on developing digital strategies for a brand in-house, or at an agency, or whilst working as a supplier of other digital marketing technologies. You should have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in one or more of these types of organisation
  • You are comfortable presenting to C-Level audiences, as an expert on your topic, and engaging in debate about the merits of different digital marketing strategies. Furthermore, you are not scared of working with SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • You are a graduate, ideally with a degree in business, marketing, or technical discipline 
  • Due to your commercial and digital business model knowledge, you can guide the customers’ business strategy, and digital marketing initiatives, in order to help the customer build a business case justifying their investment in Uberall solutions
  • You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously to find solutions to complex problems
  • Whilst not needing to be a technical expert, you have a solid understanding of technology and how SaaS solutions like Uberall’s are designed, delivered and supported. 
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages (German/French/Spanish/Polish) is a plus
